In our first episode of Season 7 (Ep. 108), we’re chatting with Rachel Bridgwood, co-owner of a wedding and event floral studio we bet you’ve heard of called Sweet Root Village. Rachel shares some of the experiences and challenges she’s had while running a floral business, from managing employees to navigating expansion opportunities. We also discuss the importance of profitability and authenticity in the industry.
Annnnd, we’re excited to announce our upcoming CIRCLE Weddings session, a safe space for learning and growth where we’ll sit down with other wedding florists and our facilitators, Rachel Bridgwood & Lauren Anderson from Sweet Root Village, to discuss our flower business experiences and learn from each other. The CIRCLE is not a traditional mastermind or class, but rather a small group of ten people who will meet virtually for two hours every Monday in October and November of 2023.
Being part of CIRCLE has provided us with a supportive community where we can share our experiences and seek advice from like-minded individuals. We appreciate the confidentiality within the group, allowing for vulnerability and open discussions about the realities of running a flower business.
Thank you for tuning in to the BB Podcast, and we hope to see you in Circle Weddings 2023 with Sweet Root Village this fall. Here’s to many more seasons of the Botanical Brouhaha podcast and the exciting journey ahead!
