I had the chance to make a quick trip over to The Antique Rose Emporium yesterday…
…love the chapel…
…no wonder there were hundreds of bees hanging around the blooms…
…love the vivid magenta against the blue sky …assuming it’s a fruit tree…
…anyone recognize the blooms?
…love the manicured shape of these shrubs…wait till you see how tall they are…
…taller than an old pier and beam farmhouse…kudos to the gardener who climbs to the top and creates these amazing sculptures…
…last year when I saw these steel structures, I wondered what they would be used for…
…they make a living canopy of climbing roses…
…fell in love with this chocolate vine climbing on a porch railing…
…Texas Mountain Laurel…smells like grape kool-aid…
…always been impressed with this structure…made entirely of clay pots…
…the Tin Man watches over the Yellow Brick Road in the children’s garden…
…paused to admire a Redbud on the way back to the car…
You might notice that I didn’t take any pictures of roses at The Rose Emporium…weird, I know, but they really aren’t blooming yet…we’ll make another trip to see the roses, larkspur and poppies!
So glad you stopped by today! Have a great Tuesday…
