Remembering The Cascade

Dec 9, 2015

When the Bloom & Basil bouquet pictured below rolled across my feed last week, it was as if I suddenly remembered the existence of cascading and teardrop-shaped bouquets. For quite some time I’ve been completely enamored with the freeform shape of garden-style bouquets after years of honoring brides’ contracts for round bouquet after round bouquet. I rarely see cascading bouquets anymore. Until this one…and it definitely got my attention. I immediately began searching my inspiration files for other cascading bouquets. Though they were few and far between, my excitement grew with each one I discovered. Hope you enjoy them, as well. Thanks, Bloom & Basil! Here’s to a resurgence of the cascade…

I’ve always loved cascade bouquets. They are also more figure flattering 😉
