Care Instructions (according to Flowers & Magazine):

“Re-cut stems under water, removing one inch. Then, submerge the entire flower in tepid water for 10 minutes. This makes the flowers turgid and decreases the likelihood of premature wilting. Place stems gently in flower food solution. Stem ends are damaged easily by dropping  them roughly on buckets, resulting in less water uptake. Store anthuriums at 55 to 70 degrees F. To keep the humidity high, cover lightly with a plastic bag. Vase life will be substantially reduced if they are stored under 50 degrees F.”

  1. Love the mix of garden flowers with the anthurium. It creates an unexpected and wonderful mix of textures. My aunt, who was a florist in the 60’s still calls anthurium “little Boy Flowers”. 🙂
